Marcin Grabowski

A musician instrumentalist (a double-bass, a bass guitar), connected mainly with the jazz community, however cooperating also with artists representing various musical styles (including swing, latin, country, blues, folk, jazz, pop, rock, funk, soul).

His artistic achievements include dozens of concerts and festival performances in Poland and abroad: Jazz Jamboree, Jazz Forum Festival, Summer Jazz Festival in Pinneberg, Germany, Festival International de Musique Universitaire in Belfort, France, Klucz do Kariery (Key to Career), Rawa Blues Festival, Pomeranian Jazz Autumn, Olsztyn Blues Nights, Big Band Festival in Nowy Tomyśl, Bydgoszcz Big Band Festival. Winning of jazz festivals with the band Elektryfikator: 1st place at the Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Góra, 1st place at the Jazz Festival in Olsztyn, participation in the finals of Bielskie Zadymki Jazzowe and Jazz on the Oder Festival; winning of festivals with the Fourth Floor band: 1st place at the Jazz on the Oder Festival, 1st place at the Pomeranian Jazz Autumn festival, a finalist of Bielskie Zadymki Jazzowe and Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Góra.

Numerous performances at jazz clubs, for example Cotton Club (Hamburg), Blue Note (Poznań), Tygmont, Hybrydy (Warsaw), Loft, Krakauer Haus (Nuremberg), concerts and performances all over Europe.

He has cooperated with such performers as Adam Wendt, Maciej Sikała, Bogdan Hołownia, Karol Szymanowski, Cezary Konrad, Marcin Gawdzis, Piotr Biskupski, Andrzej Zubek, Piotr Wrombel, Paweł Winiszewski, Tobiasz Staniszewski, Grzegorz Daroń, Tomasz Pacanowski, Rafał Prynkiewicz, Paweł Pełczyński, Radosław Szarek, Jan Freicher, Dominik Rosłon, Jakub Kujawa, Marek Marszałek, Jakub Marszałek, Sławek Wierzcholski, Mateusz Qrek and others. The artist has extensive studio experience (albums, promotional materials, film music, radio concerts). Another form of his activity is teaching: teaching how to play a bass guitar and a double bass, conducting jazz workshops and working with a rhythm section in a big band.
